Annoying BUG

Playing DA, I had a fleet with 500hp
beam weapons at 400, beam defense at 500.
missle offense at 50
6 ships in the fleet.
I attack 1 ship with 160 beam offense
and 200 beam defense, 113HP, and it repeatly
wipes out my fleet.
I do 5-10 damage, lol
How the hell is this possible, I dominate
it in every single category.
Extemely annoying.
