Here is a sample of a few custom logos that i am putting together. The first pack will contain 20 custom logos for you to use in the game.

Please keep an eye on this thread for more details on this and futher releases :D

Logo Packs

Logos can be used in all versions of the game and are placed in the following locations: -

Standard = 'My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\Logos'
DA = 'My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar\Gfx\Logos'
TA = 'My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\Gfx\Logos'

Logos.zip Logo Pack 1 (contains logos 1 to 20)

Dominion.zip Luckmanns Dominion logos (special creation)

autobot.zip Cullyns Autobot logos (special creation [post#32])

As you can guess the last image gets its base idea from the film 'The Sphere' :)

I'd actually love two of those for a "Terran Dominion" faction I've been working on (Not surprisingly based on the Terrans ;)). One with simply "DOMINION" and another one with "DOM. CORP." or "DOM.CORP." depending on which looks best to you.

No they are placed in the 'My DOcuments/My Games/GC2TwilightArnor/gfx/logos' folder and can be picked at the start of the game by moving through the logos available to you on the screen.

On a side note.. why does my little status icons not appear under my posts? Ex - LordMegatron is "Very Evil" and "Cakewalk". Yet, all I have is nothing. :)

You should just need to go into your profile and edit your characters. Ensure the character you are using displays the 'default' image at its right hand side. It is there but can be hard to see. The images should then show up for you.

For my main i am using a custom one i designed for my race.


It looks good in the game. This one will not be added to a pack as i like its uniqueness :D

I'd kinda like one similar to the "tribal skull" design from the library but with glowing red evil eyes and a rusty orange-brown Mars-y Arrakis-y home world in the thing in the crest, then to top it off a 'Sword of Damocles' type thing suspended behind and thru it (kind of like in the Star Trek evil alternate mirror universe logos).

Tried to home make some of this but the blends do not come out well in paint and without the original artwork and no talent it is difficult.
