Z-Man, you would be welcome in the Tyranny of Evil. We are always looking for a few good Tyrants. We have our own private forum and a good group of players who would be great "role models" for any up-and-coming Tyrant.

Zman,

As a fellow player that has his own empire, trust me i can empathize with you. I've been lucky to grab a player here or there, but its definitely been slow going and I can't compete with the logistical skills of the Kzinti (nearly 250 members!) or the Diplomats currently. But you know what? thats ok. I'm here for the fun of the game, the empire is an added bonus.

The only advice I can give is to be an active participant on the forums and with playing games. Its hard to get people to join if they don't even know who you are. Or, have an empire that is begun amongst a small group with a similar interest (like the Kzinti or the Arrakis empires that are built around a specific fandom).

Also, feel free to post a "Recruiting Poster" on the thread I made here: Why Should I (You) Join An Empire?

Good luck to you mate!

There are many many empires on the Metaverse, as is plainly evident by you saying that yours is ranked 447th. In order to get people to join, you need to distinguish yours from the others in some way. How you decide to do that is up to you. But a good place to start might be by making post in the forums, because I see that there isnt anything about your empire other than this post. People certainly wont be likely to join if they've never heard of it. Also, try upping your games a bit so that people can see that you are not just a figurehead, but a dedicated player too.

Well stated King of Kittens :)

Also consider introducing some gamer friends to GalCiv and asking them to join you in your campaign towards greatness. You'll need a mix of new players and old guard folks as score decade can cause ever large empires to drift back down the ranks.
