Unable to D/L latest Twilight of the Arnor released 1st Feb.

Hi,

I've got all the Galactic Civ II games and never had a problem downloading them from Stardock Central, until today. I go to Stardock Central and it updates itself to version 2.52.515 and then I go to download the latest Beta of TotA.

I currently have the beta version 0.94[b].003 and want to upgrade to 0.96[b].004 but I can't. I get to where it downloads SetRegistryValue.vbs and it downloads but when it tries to install it goes to 3% and nothing, the process then keeps om repeating itself.

I looked on Vista to see if I could uninstall the game but it doesn't appear on the list and there's no uninstall in the games golder either?

Can anyone help, please?

I still cannot d/l the latest beta for Twilight of the Arnor.

Another strange thing that never happened before this update came out, is that when I turn on the Stardock Central it updates itself (as it's meant to) to 2.52.515.

Normally if I turn off Stardock Central that's it the update is installed permanently. But everytime I turn it on, it d/l's the 2.52.515 update, before trying to d/l the latest beta, but then I'm unable to d/l the beta update.

So I cannot get anywhere with this, I cannot d/l the beta update and Vista won't let me uninstall Galactic Civ II either???

It ended up being a basic error I should have picked up on.  X-( 

After putting on Stardock Central (SC) again, I noticed that in the bottom right corner that there was an option to Uninstall any of the games. I tried to uninstall Twilight of the Arnor (TotA) but was told I needed Aministrator rights????

So having turned it off, I right clicked the SC icon and ran as an Administrator. I installed the update for it and this time I was asked to restart SC. Then I proceeded to download the TotA latest beta update and it worked.  :CONGRAT: 

To be honest, I should of tried this two days ago and not wasted mine or anyone else's time who read this, so sorry.

Please don't consider it time wasted. Hopefully Stardock Central will get an escalator eventually.

Is it possible to still get in the beta for TotA if I pre-order the game? Or were the betas invites only? Sorry been away from Stardock for awhile and returned with Sins. So kinda been out of the loop so to say. Thanks in advance.
