How do i install MOD's?

There should be instructions with any mod you download. Check the readme files.

And as far as I know, DA does not make a Mods folder. You need to create it yourself.

I have modded my DL game. The mod folder is:
C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Mods

DA would be under its own directory in a similar fashion.
You would copy the downloaded mod (in its original folder structure) to the respective games mod folder. Then you would set the main mod folder in Options.


Give some specifics as to the mod you are trying to use, and what your current Mods folder is set to in the game options.

First of what is DA compared to DL. Upon opening my MOD folder i have 2 files, Example & Default. Upon opening either i see folders Data, Event Music, GFX, Movies, Music, Screens & Sfx. I have downloaded a number of MOD's none have a folder structure just files. Can you advise any further? Thanks.

What is installed?

The game i brought is Galactic Civilizations II Limited Edition shiny metallic box about 2 years ago when it came out (U.K). In the readme it say's DL but it does not say DL or DA anywhere in the manual or on the case. The link for my dowload is...

Yes, DA is an expansion pack.
