Rename Planets

Is there currently a way to rename planets?

When I capture a planet, I would like to rename it in honor of myself.

Yes, there is a renaming function. In the bar where the planet name is when you click on the planet, there is an icon on the right that looks like a bit of paper. Click it and you can name your planets as you wish. You can even rename AI planets like this too, for that extra personal feel in the galaxy :)

actually if you just click on the planet, then click it's name on the menu bar on the botoom of the screen, it will bring up the renaming window.
