Super Abilities need help

Super Warrior - First strike. This affects WHAT, exactly? Even a crappy little defender with a particle cannon on it, going against DeathBoat Omega with black hole cannons all over it, even IF the battleship strikes first and 'destroys' it, the other ship will still fire back once.

Super Spies - Let's you waste more money, faster! Espionage is pretty much a joke, and Super Spies is just pathetic.

Super Organizer - When attacked, your ethical allies will respond. This is pretty much like a shitty version of Super Manipulator.

Super Dominator - Lots of little ships appear when you're attacked. This both can totally cripple your economy, and is usually pretty worthless. Early game they can sorta help, but later it's just annoying having to manage 12 million ships.

If the Super Warrior is the attacker, then in the very first round of the battle opponent's destroyed ships don't fire back.
The higher the firepower of the fleet, the better this ability. You still need good speed for that fleet, to perform more attacks in your turn, and/or to retreat it out of opponent's reach at the end of your turn.

I disagree with you there, you can win entire games with super organizer. For one, it works automatically... and instantly, so you don't have to worry about trade fatigue or if you are low on funds. It can also break alliances. Plus the Altarians come with a different play style than the Drath - and it is nice to have the ability with the Altarians.

Yeah, this one is worse than worthless, because it wastes money. Good thing the rest of the Krynn advantages let you ignore this sad ability.

IMO this is the worst ability bar none - and it has been made even WORSE with the new increase in ship maintenance. Not only does this ability waste money, it also wastes real life TIME in that the player has to waste precious minutes managing a bunch of worthless ships (I sell them usually). This ability also destroys the utility of Drengin AI fleets on higher levels, because it lowers its fleet totals by using precious logistics space fleeting with these slow hunks of garbage.

I think the Super Dom fleets should be made of your second tier ships or some equal level ships at that time.

Super Spy - just plan sucks. Again as I stated in another thread, the spy elements for the game need serious TLC.

Sup War is pretty good I think as it is. I always use it.

Sup Org is is pretty good as well.

Yeah I really like the Krynn, so if I wanna play them I just change their Super Ability to something else. The only time super spy helps is when the AI decides to drop like 6 spies on you in 1 turn.

Like I said, from my experience, even if you strike first, with 10 MILLION damage, on a ship with 4 HP, it'll still shoot back once.

It shouldn't if you're the one who initiated combat. But if he's the attacker, then Super Warrior doesn't have the "first strike". That's why I wrote you need speed: if you pull your ships out of reach of your opponent, his attack simply can not happen.
