Problem installing GalCiv2 on Vista Basic

I have a new laptop with Vista Basic on it. When I try to install via stardock I get th following error (some paraphrasing):

error installing galciv 2
C:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2\sdplugins\DXAxHost.dll 0|0 Access is denied
Installation failed (29)

Any ideas?

Does it work if you right click on the stardock central icon, and select "run as administrator"?

Good tip! I tried that and it is running now, much further along than it was before. I did send an email to support as well but I was hoping the community would have a quick answer.

That's odd, because SDC should automatically get admin via UAC. If it's not doing that then yeah, support should know.

It does it on both of my vista machines. Just how I know about it.
