Building Manager Desperately Needed

The new beta is great and I had a lot of fun playing the Altarians but I was disappointed that there was no building manager. Obsolete buildings are present in the building tree throughout the game and it really clutters up the building screen.

One suggestion is to allow the player to select 'obsolete' like we do in the ship screen. This will allow the player to determine which buildings are obsolete when new technologies re researched or stolen.

Which obsolete buildings remain in the building tree? I've been playing the Altarians and I haven't seen this.

Entertainment Network -> Drath Temples, for one.

I've just posted a suggestion to this problem here:

I hope to be able to fix the image display tomorrow.

That's because it's not Entertainment Network > Drath Temples. Or Healing Pools. It may be that the problem is that Altarians have three different morale building "paths."

We need the ability to manually add buildings to the "old" tab.

Also, playing a massive game with 100+ planets. You finish your tech tree and want to replace 300+ research buildings with Economy building! Hellish. A simple building manager would allow you to upgrade all 'X' -> 'Y'

Yes we can think of a few niggles, and it would be up to you to double check it worked out as intended, but that would be so much faster then the alternative we have now.
