Turn Button Not Disappearing . . . just stuck.

Well, looks like we got a new one . . . playing on a large galaxy, I was in the midst of a game without any wars going on. The "disappearing turn button" issue popped up, so I saved and exited, then loaded the game again. The turn button had reappeared, but now pressing it does nothing . . . the turn no longer advances. Anyone else experienced this? Any clues on a cause?

I've had this one happen once as well in a previous beta. The cause of this bug appears (from my layman perspective anyway) related to a myriad of pathfinding and/or other internal rules conflicts. It is closely related to the "disappearing turn button" and the "unresponsive" game bugs.

yep just hit this bug on beta 4. =( now my games wont move unless i start the game over every turn.

Yup, happened to me once or twice.

After the turn button disappeared I saved and reloaded the game. I couldn't press the turn button. I hit Excape, then went back to the game, and I *could* press it.

Just had this one hit me as well. Stardock, are you aware of this one, or do you want us to turn in some savegame files and such?

I sent in a game with this bug this morning-not the first example of it I've sent if I recall correctly.

I ran into this yesterday and fixed it; it was a bug in the AI's patrol code.  So the next update will have it.

Yes, experienced it too. After a few frustrating moment, I discovered 2 methods to tickle the Ai to get moving again.

Trick 1: Simple zoom in slightly on the screen, minimizig what's in your current view. Not sure how or why it works, but 80% of the time it allows the turn to continue.

Trick 2: Quicksave and reload.

Glad to hear I am not the only one.
