Why I love DA 1.80f

Earlier, as reported, I was playing a game under 1.80f.
Late in the game I upgraded to 1.80g. Then started getting crashing.
Some suggested it was a problem in moving the saved game from one version to another.
So I started a new game 1.80g. Played it for 5-6 hours with no crashes. Then deep into the game, it started crashing every turn. Whenever the turn would start, I would hit a planet icon on the right to update production. Immediately it would crash. 4 times in a row. Tried to load several turns back. Crash.
So I went back and restored 1.80e and then applied the 1.80f patch (two files). Then I loaded the 1.80g game (that had been crashing under 1.80g). It seems to be running fine under f. At least for 4 turns. We'll see.
I rarely saw crashes under 1.80f.
