Wont play need help

I have windows vista and Installed the gold edition 3 times now. When I click play,it says to install the setup.exe from the disk? OR re-install from stardock central. ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG help?

Sounds like you're trying to run the game from the install disc autoplay. The discs are only for installation, so the launcher that runs when you put it in is only for that. If you want to play, just leave the disc out and run the game from the vista games explorer.

That didn't help. pulled the disk out and same thing happens. Keeps saying run setup.exe from the disk.

Try running GC2DarkAvatar.exe ? Try starting it up from Stardock Central?

It works now thx for the advise. But it will only work if i go on the hard drive to start? So i might as will del the shortcut to hell :<

Check the properties on your shortcut - the command line path, specifically.

I mean, I know running the exe works for you, but I wonder if there's something wacky about what the launcher is aiming at.
