Dark Avatar: Expansion pack of the year!

Yay! In a year which saw games like Bioshock, Orange Box, World in Conflict, Call of Duty 4, and The Witcher, to say that Dark Avatar is amongst the top ten is an incredibly impressive feat, especially being so high on the list.

Yeah, you guys deserve that 4th place guys, enjoy the fame

You know, after this news I would really like to trash some German game magazines that gave GalCiv2 such bad marks.

But sadly I've never bought one of those magazines after their GalCiv2 test again, so I can't really be bothered to bring them the news.

Awesome... Just sitting up there in the clouds of heaven along with FULL-scale products from others must be another proof this game is raising the industry standards. Even if we are biased towards it - i seriously doubt previous expansions from anybody has ever achieved what SD just pulled off with DA. (* well, maybe only Warcraft-Two)

Congrats guys and gals! A very well deserved reward for all the labour of love you put into the game. I think the Gamespy editors hit the nail right on the head in their explanation to why GalCiv II: DA is ranked in fourth place.
I'm sure TotA will be a contender for the 2008 xpack of the year rewards!

Yes congratulations, it’s very well deserved for the excellence of the expansion and the first class support it’s been given.

I’ve played most of the other games mentioned; Bioshock, Crysis, Orange box and yet at the moment I’m spending all my PC game time playing GC2: ToA Beta, because frankly it’s more fun than those finished games particularly in the long term. So I think we can look forward to a similar win next year, since ToA adds about massively more to the game than DA did and that was already a huge expansion.

Hope Stardock continue to do well they certainly deserve too for their great games, first class customer service and after purchase support.

Keep up the good work guys I look forward to seeing what you can accomplish with GC3 I’m sure you’ll surprise us all again.

You guys are very deserving of this because the game you make is incredible and has had better replay value than 99% of the games I own. I preordered the Beta of Twilight because of the confidence I have in what you do and is one of the best purchases I've made this year.

Keep it up! I hope you make it to #1 with your fantasy/magic strategy game project.
