TA - medium ships listed in the menu, but can't be selected (Beta 2)....

Hi,

I encountered the following: after having researched the tech for being able to build medium sized ships, the choice to select medium ships appeared right on the building menu but there was nothing to select out of it...it was just empty..
I don't know if this is an already found bug, even fixed within the Beta 3? Anyone else experienced this?

Do you mean the medium hulls are not appearing? If you're just looking at completed ship designs, you may need other techs before those become available.

This was a sorting error in beta 2 I think. If you picked any of the filtering options other than 'all' from any of the shipbuilding menus in beta 2 everything disappeared. Reselect 'all' and then scroll down the list, the medium ships should be there. That issue was fixed with beta 3. Out of curiosity, why are you still running beta 2 if 3 is out?

No, it was not about completed ships at all...in TA I do not have saved ships yet, it's just that after researching medium sized, I got the button at the top menu but couldn't select anything to create a new medium ship, thre was no list, it was just empty.
Nevermind pals, I'll test it with the Beta3 and if this may happen again, I'll be reporting back...

Right. That button would be the 'filtering options' I described in my last post. If you don't pick any of those buttons and highlight anything, then ALL hulls are available in one big list. In beta 2 there was a bug that nothing had the right tag, so filtering would make everything disappear.
