what's the purpose of the new poll? "favorite race"

Can't answer your question, but I'm kind of surprised to see those man/monkeys seemingly in the lead. I picked the Yor since they were my original favorite from DL, but have shifted towards the Krynn in DA.

"Custom" was left off the list of favorites. Ah, well.

Ehm, the Terran Alliance is in the lead, not the Korath(they are those 'man/monkeys' right?). Yor is second, Drath is last.

I meant the Terran Man/Monkeys, I forgot about the Korath of which I'll call them Monkey/Men

Well personally I like playing my made up race better The Rooseveltian Empire. Super Isolationist (yes I know its wrong but its so wrong its right) with +30 in mil and civ +10% Plant Quality and + 1 luck

Other than that Terrans.

For TA esters it is 10x as hard, as we really see how different the races are.

I don't know why the Terrans are winning. They are my least favorite race. They suck at everything (Except for making hard bargains). I'm rooting for the Yor!

Yea, I agree. In DL, the Yor are my favorite. In DA, the Thalans are my favorite. Don't know about TA yet. I voted for the Thalans.

Hmm strange few mentions Drath ... they worked pretty well for me at least before some patches ... they where unbalance (+50% defence, was rightfully removed), but still ...
(they properly should have made seperate polls for DL, DA and TA)

Their super ability is ... how should i put this ... crap - playing computers against computers only increases the chance of tech exchange, and we wouldnt want that now would we?
(works pretty well when it is the AI playing them)

The Drath would be my second pick in DL, but their super ability is not very helpful in DA. The big advantage of the Yor is their hefty miniaturization bonus and their super ability can be helpful. I think they would be my second pick for DA.
