Human fleet warp bubble techs hooked up wrong

It allows me to do them in an order. Why would I not take the third tier and skip the rest?

I noticed the same thing. Shouldn't they be sequential?

I think they need to buff the warp fleet bubbles if they are goin to be researched sequentially. The first 2 are pretty useless in terms of cost per speed.

I think they should make the first 2 cheaper in size/price and leave the 3rd as it is, or bump te speed of all of them up by 1.

Personally, I think the way Fleet Bubbles should work is instead of being sequential, they should be linked to progressively deeper parts of the engine tree.

In other words, for example, New Propulsion Techniques leads to Fleet Bubbles I, Warp Drive I leads to Fleet Bubbles II, and HyperWarp I leads to Fleet Bubbles III.

This would spread them out over the tech tree and force you to develop higher quality engines before you get the next bubble. Otherwise, Warp Bubbles are good enough (especially the third one) that they relieve the need to research better engines to a certain extent. I think I'd generally go all the way to Bubbles III before I even got Impulse Drives (beyond the first one for the speed bonus, I mean), otherwise.

I sorta got the impression that Brad and the dev staff may actually want to encourage that, to lead the Terrans to be really fleet oriented.

Do you have the latest version? This was supposed to have been fixed.

Fixed the Fleet Warp Bubbles requirements so they hook up properly for next beta.
