ship combat screen

Sometimes the last ship doesn't get destroyed,so the ship combat screen keeps going. Ships are circling around doing nothing. Hitting the done button is the only way to finish the last ship of the losing side and get the combat report.

Do you have a savegame where you can inititate a battle that behaves in this way? If so, zip it up and send it to [email protected] with a link back to this thread.

If you have a saved game please zip it and send it in so we can check out what is happening.  Do you remember what kind of weapon the last shot used? (beam/mass driver/missile?)

No, I've nothing saved, and the last used weapon was probably beam, that' the branch I usually research and use.
