You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

and thanks SB, neilo and KP! i think i'm happiest because it doesn't look exactly like something "out there in SF land."  maybe a little Ori or Wraith, but not a strong resemblance. also, it's so much harder making good looking ships without KHSM, so i feel pretty good that i imanaged to get that out without my beloved invisible offsets.

Beware, we are the Neo-Grox Empire. We are the decendents of the Grox, a once power race of cybernetic beings who guarded the center of the galaxy, but a over a thousand years ago, our once mighty empire was destroyed by another race. Now we work as mecinarries.

Now if you've noticed, we lack several key features that the original Grox had.

We were created as expiriments by the Grox, our hands, feet and extra arms with claws, are robotic. Also are ears are bigger cause the original Grox wanted to give us better ears so we could hear enemies from a distance. Luckily are robotic parts look better.

 Hey Nuriko, welcome to the empire thread. :)  If you go to the main stardock forums you can change any user info you want, but the link at the gc2 forums has been broken for a long time.

well...went to an apple festival today for food and drink (mmmm fresh cider).  Pre-ordered Guitar Hero 4 guitar+game kit.  Freind of mine will reinburse me for the game and we'll end up saving $15 vs if we had bought the things seperate.

Been test-driving PM2008's demo this weekend.  Man my PC sux, the game is fairly laggy.  Doesn't look good for me to buy it.  Hopefully things look up for me to get into the beta for not-MoM w/ this POS rig.

Finished a run as the Iconians in my run to learn spy costs.  I finally realized that I need to record the spread of the cost for the spy since 1% of the raw income can mean a lot.  I was really hoping for the Krynn to get the techs I wanted so I could get a +200 espionage for a 75% of income spending to spies...dumb fools never got those techs in the time it took me to hit 100 spies.

Looks like all my runs here on out will just be the Krynn since I like their tech tree better.

Ooh, I'd been wanting to try that out.  I've got it downloading right now, and all I can say is this: WorthPlaying is the worst download site ever.  First link I clicked on "Download this game." Linked me to a second page, where I again had to press "Download this game." Links me to a third page, same story.  Finally, I get linked to a page where I can choose "US Mirror."  Two more links to different pages, and I finally get to download the game.  Here's a hint:  When I say that I want to download a game, I really mean it.  You don't have to confirm it 7 times.

For PM2008 I played all through the as a Democrat using my Korak the Mighty Klingon candidate.  For Republicans I cant quite seem to beat the last Democratic candidate.

I've been tempted to play through the campaign with each and every stock candidate myself...I know it'll be somewhat difficult, but I think it's doable.

I've decided to include the Neo-Grox in the MV mod, they'll replace the Dread Lords and will be the main villans of the story, here is a preview of one of their ships,

J supervised while I made it, also I'll make a few ships based on the Grox ships used in Spore.
