Kzinti Empire - offical empire thread

You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

"Kzinti flesh has a very strong and pungent taste. The weak among us are devoured by their litter-mates within a few moons of birthing. Only the swiftest and most ferocious of us survive to their first naming-day. Those not fit to survive will never live to perpetuate their inferior bloodlines. This is the natural law of the galaxy." - Kzinti Warrior

kzin6

"The meaning of life is the hot blood of your prey on your tongue, the meat that rends beneath your teeth, the corpse of your enemy left in the sun for the carrion eaters to finish, your defeated foe groveling in submission before you. That is what life is. We are the Kzinti, and we stronger, swifter, wiser, and more ferocious than any other race ever was or will be." - Kzinti philosopher

If your claws can grasp it, then it is rightfully yours. - Kzinti proverb

A salute to all those heroic t'kzintar who have made this empire a resounding success. Our conquests continue and the galaxy will never know peace!

I'm half Japaneese and half Scotch-Irish. When someone upsets me, I calmly reach into their chest, rip their heart out and take a bite out of it. No need to argue or scream.

 Don't you mean soul sucking.

Very few of us know the nature of the soul to be able to describe devouring one fully.  It's not widely known, but souls are actually crunchy and go well with a pinch of salt.  Especially if you slice them diagonally.  Slice them wrong and they can be toxic.  Or worse, bland.  :hot:

I posted insight into the "why" some AI races don't seem to expand in TA.

LOL, this is now my second major find/explanation to the Devs (I also wrote a post on the MCC explaining how its info was written incorrectly in the xml, it was then patched).  I deserve a cookie.  Oatmeal raisin are my favorite, but I'll go with peanut butter also

Anyhow, you can find the post here: https://forums.galciv2.com/326874

Quick question to the regulars here. I used to be able to see the Altarian symbol next to my medals in the forums but I can't anymore. I seem to recall that you had to win a game playing DL to have the race icon show up alonside your medals. Is that right? Just wondering. Hope all are well. :sun:

hmmm, I'm seeing the DL v1.5 listed toward the bottom there TR; though there are some v1.5DAs next to it.  Try playing another DL game, or a TA game.  Those seem to both work at getting a Fave Race.

Two days late, but welcome LZ.

This weekend was filled with digging!  Unfortunatly, it wasn't digging into the data of espionage.

It was digging into decomposed plant matter processed by invertabrets and then used as a holding medium for two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen.  All to place more plant matter, in this case living, into the now gaping hole currently containing atmosphere.  All in preperation for the local star to seemingly go southward, but in fact the planetoid I live on wobbles on it's axis, thus reducing the angle I am at with said local star.  Also eating up my time was the colelction of various objects created from minerals and liquids (processed into a solid) to deliver to a collection facility that which will deliver these object to a reprocessing facility to reuse it's base materials into more objects.

(I guess that sounded better than "I did my Fall planting and crushed recylables")

At least it gave reason to break out my pickaxe and hatchet (damn you root!!!) and go all medeval.

What's up with the Galactic Core?  Some other website comes up when I go to it from my favorites, now.  It was working this morning, though.  I think it did something like this the other day, too.

5 day lillies (Bella Legosi, Dark Elf, Aztec Priestess, Krakatoa Lava, Nights Coming), a rose, a royal star magnolia tree (our dog is named after this tree, so it was only fitting to get one to plant in the yard) three other things I cannot remember their names...

Next year my wife plans on a lighter side name-wise for a day lilly bed.  We already have our sights on a Francis of Assisi to start it up.  More dark ones are to come, Nosferatu comes to mind.

There was also plenty of cutting things back and final weeding to do.  Hopefully my mower gets done this week so I can get a final cut in, I sheared a key when I hit a brick with it the other week.

That's kinda early Loup. ;)  If I had no obligations to be anywhere at any time, I'd go to sleep when the sun is coming up amd get up in the afternoon.

Cool flower names. B) I'd never really heard of most of those.
