You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

KzinPat, in an earlier post you mentioned that Neilo can alter the stock races custom abilities (meaning super abilities), and still (apparently), qualify his games for the metaverse. Do you know how he does this? When I choose Altarian in DA, it gives me the usual 10 points to pick additional starting abilities but it doesn't allow me to alter thier super-ability. How does Neilo do this? Also, can you change ethical alignment for stock races as well and still have them be ok for metaverse games. Just wondering. Hope all is well.

No problem. We do have one request, however: if you make war against the Venusians, leave thier home planet to us so we may extermnate them once and for all! The very thought of those scum coming from the same star system as Earth...it makes us sick.Roleplaying aside, I should start submitting MV games pretty soon.Long live the Empire!*Gives Terran Empire salute*

Venusians….hrrrrr. That planet is way too hot for any Kzin, so you can do as you wish with it. It sounds like a good opportunity to hone your battle skills and tactics. Have at them! *gives Kzinti salute back…dragging all four claws across the face in a slashing motion* These Venusians can be your first conquest for the Empire.

This is referred to as Advanced Race Customization (ARC). Here is the link to one of the forum threads about it: WWW Link

With the forum search disabled, its hard to find info now. I know there is another thread somewhere with more specific info on changing the values. Maybe someone else knows and will chime in.

With DA you can do a lot within the game interface, by modifying a race and making a custom opponent, then choosing that race for yourself to play. Hope that helps. :)

Got the racial victory medal and climbed some 200 spots.

Those quickly captured planets will make some nice outskirts for our ever-growing empire...

Thx a bunch for your offer Neilo, it's much appreciated. As difficult as this is for me to believe, I think I actually figured it out myself hehe :LOL: . Tested playing Altarians with Super ahhnialator ability and it worked for metaverse. Being able to alter super abilities and alignment with stock races will be cool for "real" games. It will also be cool to make some super custom races (with like 200% bonuses), and play against them, although they won't count for meta. Now I just have to figure out what the difference is between the homeworlds of the different races.

I actually have no Idea what the alt-meta is. How is it that I'm #1? I'm actually only following the metaverse rankings and trying for medals. What is the alt-Meta and where can I find it?

Thx dude. 250 victories is next for the next medal then maybe start a new toon. As for Civ combos, the only thing I've done so far is change up the Altarians and give them super ahhnialator for the ZYW games. Been working alot lately and haven't had much energy to play any "real" games and mess around with other combinations.

The AltMeta is a way different way of looking at Metaverse statistics. The main differences are that on the AltMeta, you get credited full value for every game score, scores devalue all the way to 0 after 6 months (so it is a more accurate measure of current activity), and there are various different rankings divided up based on map size and victory type. If you click on an empire or character it will give you very detailed info, including a graph of games submitted over time.

Ah yes found it. Do you know what the different categories stand for? The special rankings are obvious but the alt-meta class rankings (Universal X 2, Galactic x 2 and Solar x 2), don't come with an explanation and I have an idea of what only a couple represent. Thx for the links :) .

On the AltMeta "solar", "galactic", & "universal" denote different map sizes. While "civ" and "mil" denote the victory type, with "civ" being any non-military victory type. So for example, under the "galactic mil" rankings would be people who played large and medium maps, while getting a military victory. The "universal all" category is the ranking that includes everything that each character has submitted.

So at the moment, you sit atop the AltMeta rankings!  :CONGRAT: 

I like having two of my characters in the top 10. ;)

My giga game is still plugging along and is going slow, but it'll be done one day. It's testing out at over 400k points now and climbing. This is about 3/4 of the way into year 3. I'll need to re-evaluate my goal and bump it up a notch or twelve.  :)

You ZYW folks are burning up the stats. Congrats on getting there so quickly.My giga game is still plugging along and is going slow, but it'll be done one day. Apparently the Autobots have some glitches in their language sub-routines. Some sort of infinite loop error. A good ol' boot-to-the head might fix the problem!
