You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

Glad you like that example from the Tech Tree. If I can escape from the imperial forces of the girlfriend tonight I might be able finish it tonight. Next project would be to build authentic Kzin ships based on the Star Fleet Battles.

So then you guys can eat others sentient creatures while playing the Heroes Race or you can blow them to Kitty Litter.

Also, congrats on getting all three of your characters into the top 25. Actually, the top 25 are the top 23, if we dismiss the two hex editors.

I might finally have a solution to my gigantic game. I was able to get past the exception error that has plagued me by downgrading my video card to a 7300GT. Unfortunately, the error is now back, so I have some tweaking to do. There's a workable compromise somewhere in there. I hope to find it before dementia sets in.  :HOT:

hey, Kzintipatriarch is this empire supposed to before or afrear the human-Kzinti wars? As you know they have a great change in themselveys aftear all the rearly agresive ones are dead.

I've always taken this to be if the Kzinti had managed major, long-term victories against Mankind, but that's just my take on it all.

Silverbeacher has it right. :) The premise is an alternate reality where the Man-Kzin Wars had a different outcome, with the Terrans being completely subjugated. Conquest Hero Chuut-Riit was not assassinated, and his 5th Fleet successfully conquered the Sol system. And of course it's in the GalCiv universe too, so an alternate universe makes the most sense. This Empire is not canon to the universe of Known Space that Larry Niven created.

True, but the Kzinti are more focused on honore then long term goles. They rather all go charging out and fight to the death, then perserving their forces for the next battle, unless I am wrong and they do focuse on long term stuff, you should ask Kzintipatriarch, he would know this stuff.

KzintiPatriarch, do you know were you can find info on the Kzinti? The info I goot was from wikipedia (:(. So I guess It would be importent to do this so I dont miss any inside jokes or something of that nature.

Wikipedia is allright, and larryniven.org has lots of info about the Known Space universe where the Kzinti originated.

I don't normally go for non-metal females but the kzinti out did themselves.
As for the geckodon women there is room for improvement.

Thats a Geckodon female? It doesnt even have any fur! It's about as attractive as a raaairtwo, which is sort of like a Terran rhino. ;) Here's another of our alluring kzinretti.

some Terrans consider our females beautiful.
Actauly there are some Terran/Geckodon couples within the Confederation. I wish we could see more of this.
