There is an overall spending slider for production as well. Make sure it's taged up a few percent. Also, when on the planet itself, you should see a value other than 0 towards the top left in the military box indicating how many units of production you are putting towards the military.

Whatever, a quit that game and started a new one. BTW, it was fine before, but after I made a custom ship, thats when the bug happened. Well, I'm getting the game in a few hours! I have a question, do ships in orbit defend the planet?

Yes, they do. Any attacking fleet has to get through them before they can stage an invasion with a troop carrier.

GC2 is a very complex game and will require you to read on how-to
play it. In the long run the time spent learning how to play this
game with be worth it. I'm not a big fan of TBS games, but this
one is different ...

If you've registered stardock can still email you your serial #, then download stardock central and you will never have to worry again.

go to the downloads page, and Download it. the program will ask you for your email address and password, the one used when you bought the game, (if you already registered) then it will auto update the game for you, or reinstall it if you need to.
