Tech Trading Feedback for TA

First off, I love the new tech trees, especially the Arcean one.

However, tech trading has suddenly gotten... complicated. There are so many strange and new techs (and that's just with three races) that I barely am able to tech trade effectively anymore, especially since many techs have poor descriptions when viewed in the trade window (Xeno Slavery).

What would really help: Color code the techs, so that techs you have that are unique to your race are one color, "shared techs" (i.e. both you and the race you are trading with can research them) are white, and techs that your race normally can't get that the other race has are another color. A simple way of sight recognizing what's a "unique" tech and what's not would be greatly helpful.

Also, when creating a game, instead of just having tech trading on or off, could there be another setting along the lines of "Races can only trade for techs they can normally research", so that you can have tech trading but preserve racial uniqueness?

EDIT: In related news, I just looked through the tech-related XML files for Twilight (confirming that Adamantium Armor really didn't have a pre-req for the Arceans; it doesn't...), and I noticed how you guys set up the racial tech trees.

I have to say, WOW. StarDock, you have outdone yourself. I am already giddy with anticipation for making my own custom tech trees. ^_^

I like this idea... but a another way would be to make the right click have more information... if it is in your tree, which race owns it, etc.
