how do you name textures

Can someone please help me but Ive made a puddle jumper model and you can see that its there it rotates and everything but all youll see is a white glob.Ive got the textures for it but doint know how to name them this happens with every ship I create.So can somebody please help me thanks.

you have to put the textures on the puddlejumper while you are in the Moddeling program. you need to use multimaterial. Submaterial 1 will be the main hull, submaterial 2 the rims. Submaterial 3 is for engine.

please use just ONE Texture for all submaterials together.

you also need to use UVW Mapping, to match the texture right onto the ship.

try some tutorials.


besides, at I-mod, there are a few guys who can also help you. just look into there profiles which skills they have.
