Missing graphics & poor thumbnail quality 1.7d[b]

I have sent in an email including screenshots of a bug found in the latest 1.7d beta.

To outline the issue: -

Selecting a pre-designed template and then using it in the ship design window comes up with a lot of blank icons.

Thumbnail of said ship once built is such a poor quality that it is near impossible to see what ship you are looking at.

As i said all files pertaining to this 'bug' have been emailed to the bugs address including screenshots, the customrace file, a saved game and the debug.err. I have the ships themselves if it helps too!

Other than these couple of issues the new build appears stable to me at present. Great work as normal Cari

According to the patch updates they did change the updates to be a lower quality picture to increase performance that might have something to do with not being able to see the detail your used to. Not that I like the change I personally don't notice a performance increase because of the latest patch but, to some people it might help. Personally I hope for the higher quality thumbnails to return. Does anyone else agree or would you rather have it the way it is now?

I really prefere high-res icons than low-res icons. is there a way to put it in the graphic option so people with low end machine can change it into low-res themself?

Those thumb nails are so disgusting I can't bring myself to download the new patch. Would rather stick with the last version of the client.
