Local High Scores

The high score button doesn't seem to be updating with the scores. I have completed two games now with the beta update that adds the high scores button. So far nothing has posted on my machine as far as a score.

Hi Seilore,

Can you please check the contents of this folder:

c:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2\darkavatar\data\DefaultHighScores

Please check to make sure that this folder exists, and that it has files in it.

Also, please check

\My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar\SandboxGames\

and see if there are any files in it.

It sounds like your high score files might not have been installed.  You can reinstall if these folders are empty to get the missing files.

Please let us know if doing so does not help.

the sandboxgames folder does not exist on my computer. Does the local high scores post with metaverse games as well or just regular games? That might be my problem if metaverse games don't post there as well as on the metaverse in which case I would be dissapointed because that's all I play.

Sandbox games are the only game types displayed in the high scores list at this time.  We will be adding metaverse games to the high scores list soon.
