Newbie requests help . . .

I just got my copy of GalCiv and I need help figuring out how to get my newly built ships to break orbit. I can build survey scouts and colony ships, but they just sit in orbit. How do I get survey scouts out into space and my colony ships to newly explored systems? (I've tried clicking on everything I could think of . . .)

While you are in the planet screen, you can see a small icon of your ship in orbit in the lower right part of your screen. Also in that same section is a green arrow icon. Click your ship, then click the green arrow icon - that launches the ship. Alternately, just double-click the ship
