Disappearing End Turn Button!!!

My end turn buttom keep disappearing, does anyone know how to fixed it?

I got this too on DA 1.61.090

I reloaded and it went away...

If the turn button disappears between turns and you have ships with either autopilot or rally point commands, the game will occasionally hang up on one of those ships.

A quick fix is to select a ship and re-issue the movement command. Sometimes, you might need to move as many as three ships before the game takes off again, but it's quicker than saving and reloading.

Sometimes, a ship is selected and the game freezes on it, even though it has no movement points left. You can cancel the movement command by right clicking on the ship. That works sometimes too.

I got this in the 1.7 beta, but again, saved and reloaded and it went away


I tried the saved but when I reload it, the end turn button didn't show up at all.
I never got this problem I only got this problem recently after I just download and instell 1.7 bata.

Sometimes a ship can go on autopiolate by itself when you load a saved game. Also simply waiting a while can work as well.

That might be the case when the AI's are still busy battling for example. Not sure that it helps for your own autopiloted ships.

AWWW NOES, I'm playing the probably most thrilling game ever (TA Beta 3a, immense map, Iconians) battling it out with the Arceans and my end-turn button keeps disappearing no matter what. The Arceans are vaporizing one of my ships and - guess what, button gone, game over. Can't even select ships or planets anymore, in this very turn the game anything but totally freezes. Btw I made sure there are no ships on autopilot except for my freighters.

Anybody here to give some advice? I mailed the savegame and debug.err to Stardock.

I had this happen the other night running the TA beta. The turn button disappeared, and after a minute or so I tried zooming all the way in so that all I was seeing was empty space. It seemed to release it, and also worked when the turn button disappeared a few turns later.

Same here. Playing TA Beta3a - Turn button disappears every turn. only way to get it back is to zoom or scroll away from the ships....

While playing TA Beta3a Turn button disappeared often casing me to keep saving and reloading game. I found this happening after a battle sequence and so I chamged battle setting from normal to quick battle. This stopped the Turn buttom disappearing and I was able to finish game.

I get the turn disappearing bug in Beta 3A pretty consistently too. 90% it occurs while I'm attacking enemy ships in a planet's orbit.

I have been getting the same issue -- attack a ship in orbit, then after the combat is over, I can't select anything. When i end turn, the button disappears and does not come back. I can reload, but that does not always work. I'm playing the newest version of the TA Beta. Playing as the terrans.

This is happening in TA and DA.

Im pretty sure at this point all these problems are being introduced in the "fixes" 1.8f/g. I was able to resurrect 1.8c on my laptop and these issues are non existant so far. I will keep playing with 1.8c and see if the bugs show up..

Hi all,

I responded under the vista post, but I am running vista with a nvidia 7950gt card and was having the same lock up problems. As was suggested by someone else, I downloaded the updated drivers at nvidia's website from nov 07 and now I no longer have any probs. So if you're running vista with a nvidia card try that.

I get this with Dread Lords latest Patch, and nothing works to solve the problem, even did a clean re-install of the game and it still happens, I'm playing on Windows Vista with an ATi Radeon HD 2900XT and Catalyst 7.11 drivers. I'm playing GalCiv2 Dread Lords v1.50.130

Turn button reappeared to me when i pressed menu key and just returned to game... I think, it was few weeks ago... but if it works, it should be very easy to work with this "bug"
