How do I move my ships?

My first turn in GC2 (and my first post here), how do I move my colony ship over to Mars to colonize it? Thanks!

Click on the ship. This should select it. Once selected, right click on the destination.

First, left click on the ship, if it is not already the focus (light blue circle).

Second, right click on the destination.

Third, save the game.

Forth, on the Introduction Screen Menu, click the button marked tutorial.

Honest, nobody in this forum minds helping with the tricky parts, but this game is way to complex for anyone to expect to dive into and figure everything on the fly. Read the manual and work the tutorial, then ask us the questions that are left over.

Actually, the manual does NOT cover this. And I couldn't find anywhere in the tutorial that did either.

I admit, upon review, it could be clearer...but (page 28)

Controlling the Main Map
Players can interact with the map through the keyboard and mouse. The mouse is used in the following ways:
 LEFT-BUTTON CLICK: Selects the object that the mouse is currently over.
 RIGHT-BUTTON CLICK: Sends the currently selected object to the location that the mouse cursor is over (if applicable).
