I see that there's going to be another expansion pack for galciv2.


Does anyone have any detail as to who or what the Arnor is?

Where did you find that?

To learn about the Arnor, go there and search for "The Mithrilar" w/o the quotes. What follow the titles is the story behind the Arnor.

I saw it today in the Stardock Magazine August 2007 email.

Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor. New expansion pack coming out this November. Details will be up on Gamespot next week. Keep an eye on galciv2.com for updates. It will require Dark Avatar (or Gold Edition) to use.

The unannounced fantasy game. Stardock is working on a fantasy strategy game that could be described as a bit of Master of Magic (okay, a lot of Master of Magic), XCom for the tactical battles, and Populous for the scope of your spells. Release Date 2009.

And there are a lot of things that could be added!

Like Meteor showers, permanent wormholes, solar storms...

Great, as soon as I get Dark Avatar I'll have to get this new one!

Well, the Arnor and the Dreadlords are the same species, and it has all but been said that humans are directly related to them (temporal paradox type of thing, humans evolve into them, cause problems, go back in time, wash rinse repeat).

So, the Twilight of the Arnor could be describing what happens to the remainder of humanity who did not flee into the Dreadlord universe.

@shadow warrior. surprise welcome to pc game marketing. Of course they want to develop new features to slam down your money having throat, but what other gaming company is small enough to pay attention to their customers. well not many, try buying one of EAs games and then come talk to me about marketing bs.

does anyone no what types of requirments are needed to play this game??(RAM, PROCESSOR, ETC...) or are they the same as dark avatars????

You need be running a Protologic 68000, preferably linked with the other 50,000 batch units.
