Issue with ethical allignments!

Alright I've been seeing alot of posts and replies where everyone has either completeley evil or kinda-sorta evil.

Q:Is there anyone out who is neutral or good. And if anyone has an estimated number of people with ethical allignments, please tell us, I'm sure we really would like to see it.

Being as I am a big fan of the 'all research, all the time approach' I am always Neutral. Or rather, I am always Neutral at the end.

I usually start out as Altarians, so I guess I'm as Good as it gets in the early game.

Then I take all the nice, BENEFICIAL, Evil ethical choices, to get the various money and abilities bonuses and to move my current alignment toward the center of the scale.

Finally, when I research Ethics, usually after a deliberate delay, I'll align with Neutral, pay the 2500bc fee if I haven't been able to force the slider down far enough, and proceed to research and build the extra trade routes and the NLCs.

So what am I? Good, Evil, or Neutral?
Heck if I know.

Yeah, I tend to pick evil choices, but then I buy Neutral.

Oh, and I share the observation that most people play as evil. I would probably guess that 75% of people are evil, 20% neutral, and 5% good, but that's just a guess.

I view the tendancy as an unsophisticated urge to have the biggest...er...weapons.

Guys (and I am gender specific deliberately), technique is way more important than...firepower.

Well, I am a good race because evil sucks and I am a good person. But I take it back, evil does not suck but you get bring good gives you allies and stuff. Bring evil and good civilizations will join forces and kill you. I suggest you be a good civilization buddy.

I'm a noob (when I posted this in case anyone ever looks back) and and don't really do metaverse yet (I need more practice) but I am always neutral. I am a Technlogist (political party and victory stategy). And neutral has a good mix of evil and good.

I play as good. The bonuses one may get with good apeals to me more than what one might get with evil. With evil, one gets special weapon techs that are extremely expensive, and are only useful for so long before you get ultimate versions of whatever weapon type you are using. With good however, you can get a +35% defense bonus and +5% hitpoints (total with research and development) that stick around even after you research superior versions of the special defense modules.

Hmmm...Divine, you almost convince me to try a Good finale again. Particularly given Iztok's contention that Defense systems are ascendant in DA combat until very late in the game.
