Help!

I posted this somewhere else but just in case I dont get a response anytime soon.
The opening intro tutorials and a various cutscenes looked choppy so I took the anti alising down down from 4x to 3x I restarted the game when the main screen comes up all I see is a superimposed image of the Galciv 2 with only a tiny bit of the background. the options menu is unaviable.I took the game off but when I put it back on it was the same thing please HELP!!!

Your video card may not like 3x AA.

You can edit the Prefs.ini file to set it back to 4x. 2x or none might work alright, too.

The file is located in My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 for Dread Lords, and there is a separate one for Dark Avatar in its folder.

Just open it with Notepad and look for-
Multisample=
in the [Video] section.

Set it to 0 for no AA, or you can try 2 or put it back to 4.

I don't have DA, so I don't know the exact folder structure.
It should be My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar or My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar or something like that.
It should not be hard to figure out if you have it there in front of you.
