DA: Lag when Ships are on Screen

I Always Get Severe Lag When Ships are on Screen, the more ships the worse the lag. WHen there are no Ships Whasoever it runs Very smoothly howrever.

i tried turning off the point sprites and also set the Precursal lightning(i tihkn thats what its called) to zero. It still lags alot >_<

i'm fairly positive i have the most recent driver because i know the last driver update for my graphics card occured within the asame onths (september)

P.S. i just tried to update my driver just in case, but it gives me an error message saying: This Driver cannot be installed on this Computer. Please contact the computers manufacturer for more info.

and then i can only exit it.

if my driver is the issue, then i'm screwed, because we all know how helpful the phone support for Dell is. and then no one understands them either cause english is their second language....*grumble*


Edit: It runs smoothly if i zoom all the way out.

Try disabling the enhanced ship rendering and mixed vertex processing options.

Your performance isn't going to be stellar no matter what you do, though. Intel integrated chipsets are quite poor performers to start with.

Try disabling the enhanced ship rendering and mixed vertex processing options.

Your performance isn't going to be stellar no matter what you do, though. Intel integrated chipsets are quite poor performers to start with.


Yeah, thanks i did that it runs more smoothly now, i just need a New Graphic Card now, with this one muy game freezes sometimes and then my colors get all pixeled when i Task manager myself to the desktop. Just need to find a Good cheap Graphic card..<_<
