Can I save my Update?

Or....Long live the Zip patch update.

Just got GC2DL:GE yesterday, and so headed straight here
to hopfully download my patch, with my Download resume
program.

Stardock!!, never heard of it before, but it sure gave me
one big sinking feeling in the stomach.....GOD NO!!!!!

Not one of these %^$# ing things.

So TCALSS, I managed to update to 6.whatever after 1 1/2 hours
of downloading. Dial up connection here.

Uh O!!, Do I have to do this all again if I need to reinstall
the game?

Hense my questions
1. Can I save my Update?
2. Does Stardock have any resume download function.

Can I save my Update?

Yes, simply right click the game in SDC and choose Archive Application->Selected Application. You can then restore it at a later time through the File menu->Restore Archive option.

Archiving will create a .sdc archive(s) in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Stardock Central\BACKUP; you can copy the archive file along with the SDC installer onto a CDR,DVDR,USB drive, etc for permanent storeage if you like. The archive will include not only the patch but the entire latest version of the game.
