The most frusterating bug ever

ARGGGGG! Ready for this...

Alright i'm starting a new Galactic Civ, Gigantic Universe, custom Civilization that is heavily heavily +social and +military production with the Super Warrior ability.... and than here starts the match...

First thing i see, i have a Precursor Library, so go 700% research, so nice right? I did my usual routine of 4 factories, and made a lab so that i could start mass researching stuff... But than... i exit the planet map... and what do i see... A military resource literally touching my home planet... in fact the first ship i launched was actually on top of the resource... Amazing right?

It gets better, the first planet i colonize has 2x 300% research squares plus another 100% research square, and its a 12 class so plenty of room =DDDDD... and than i discover next to that is an economic resource and i'm like "DEAR GOD YES!" this is PERFECT....

I start colonizing some more, and all my planets are 10-16 class, and than i discover a research resource... talk about amazing...

Than here comes the bug... i suddenly realized.. why hasn't anyone else done ANY galactic achievements... in fact, why havn't i heard of anything so far... hmmmm.... than i see the quarterly report.. by like the 25th turn i have 600 economic might rating >.> yeah, something is really really wrong....

The civilization closest to me colonized 1 planet, and than stopped doing anything... i checked, and some people had colonized 5-8 places, but nobody was doing anything with it, they all had 0 military strength after 20-25 turns (even the Drengin), and this is on Machonistic (or however you spell it)....

Kind of kills all the joys when all your opponents are brain dead... it was the best start i'd ever had either *tears*

This is a bug that happens sometimes when you use CTRL-N alot to get a better starting planet. All the other empires do bascially nothing the whole game.

Tha happened to me when i CTRL-N 'ed. I was "doing SO great". until i coulnt trade a single tech cause no one had anything to trade. i realized something was wrong and i noticed all of thae AIs had 2 planets (the STARTED with a clony ship) to my 10. I looked and they were all set to duuuuuuuuuuu. So i dont Ctrl-N. if i want a new setup ill take the time to go to the main menu and click my way to a new game.

Yopu say you started on Mosocistic but have you checked the actual intelligence of your opponents?

I don't think of it as a bug so much as an undocumented anti-scumming measure cleverly snuck in by Stardock XD.

Haha, best part is i didn't really Ctrl-N that much.... i use Ctrl N if i'm ever in the center of the galaxy, because than what seems to always happen, is they corner me into a hole.. i always play militaristic but with Tech > Quantity.. as a result they always think i'm a bi gpussy, whe one of my fleets kills 10 of their fleets every turn... but my strat doesn't work if i'm in the center because than every nation declares war on evil ole me, and i end up slowly, over 4-5 hours getting beaten, too frusterating so now i always start on a side =D
