Simple question from noob

I hope this is a straight forward question and I can explain it correctly without having to do a screen cap:

On the Galactic civilization manager (the spreadsheet):
In the column that lists the planet names to the right hand side there is a shield icon which represents ships in defense.
In that same column to the RIGHT of the name there is a planet icon.....

what does that planet icon represent?

Like I said, simple question.

DOH! meant to say to the LEFT of the planet name is the icon I'm talking about.

Which leads to another question: Can you edit your posts here?

all i can say is that I am a noob too, and this game sucks to start learning. How the hell do you unstack ships? How do they get stacked anyway?

Wow?!?

I figured this was a simple question. No answers?

In terms of "unstacking" enduro..you can click "disband fleet" to break the ships apart.

It's just a tiny picture of the planet, no actual function that I'm aware of.

I don't know what its there for. But i know some planets dont have the picture.

Stacked ships just means they are on the same tile, nothing else. to "break" them apart just move one to another tile. If they are in a fllet then you can add/ delete ships from that fleet (logistics allowing)

and you CAN edit posts as long as it hasnt been read by anyone yet. you'll see "edit" next to "quote" and "reply" when you open your own post.

Thanks Kryo...

But why does a planet sometimes have the icon and sometimes not?

A bug I assume?

EnduroRacer...
yes it is difficult to learn, or at least I have been finding it difficult, but pretty soon that difficulty becomes appealing. A light goes on, you understand something new, and then apply it... very satisfying.

Similar to music. If you hear a record and like it straight away, you usually tire of it quite quickly. If you have to play it a few times and THEN you start getting into it, chances are that your enjoyment will be lasting...
