Hi guys, and welcome to the official thread of the premier Metaverse League team,
the "Blade Runners".

Perhaps as far as talking strategy, we might keep that to a private thread at the core, i believe Mumble is looking into it. Are you signed up at the Core Ghostwes?

Anyone know of any changes to the score multiplier with tech victory. I assume everything is the same, i have not gone for a high score tech game before....

If there is a round 4 mate. There was some discussion to be had prior to the start of round 4 and everyone seems awol.....

Mkay, nobody's paying attention in either the Core team forums or the new ToE team forums, so I'll resurrect this thread and see what I can stir up.

Just pour on some reanimation fluid... massage it down the stiff gullet... it twitches... it stirs... the thread is alive!!! It's ALIVE!!!

Starting with Round 9, the Bladerunners are going to need a new captain. I am stepping down from that post and abstaining from Round 9, as well, though I do intend to return to League play in the not-too-distant future.

I'll post something similar in the next draft thread when it opens, but I thought another public heads-up might be in order. I would consider any current team member who expressed more than a passing interest a good candidate, or anyone from outside who meets the team's approval.

Actually given that we're starting with a draft I'm not sure there's a whole lot of need for the team's approval for someone that was previously not on team B to become the team B captain.

After all the eintire team is likely to be different so why need approval from folks that are not going to be on the team.

I think you've made every reasonable attempt to find a new captain from within the ranks of team B. Everyone has had ample opportunity to step forward if they were interested. At this point I suggest that since no one currenty on team B has expressed any interest, we should simply consider anyone in the league that has interest. I'm sure there's someone. If there are multiple candidates then we can figure out a method of selection. I'd personally be fine with commissioner selection although a vote is fine as well.

I'll make these same comments in the current round thread and see what percolates.

That is fine with me. Reconstitution from the ground up may be the best thing - I mean, look at the Cleveland Browns.
