Influence Bug & possible military resource bug/suggestion

I am running the latest version of DA and I have 1 minor issue and one major one if it is a bug.

Firstly the minor influence bug I am seeing.

In a game my influence lines change between when I save a game to when I load that same game. I'll try to ilustrate without screen shots so bare with me.

When I am playing a game my influence will be at a certain position on the map like normal. This particular game i could visually see it move because of my ship placement. Long story short I had my ships within my sphere and had the Yor influence line on the other side. Here is an example

X = open space,o = a ship, | = the influence line

XXXo|XXXX

then I save my game to come back to later. WHen I first load the exact game I saved oftem my influence line will look somehting like this

XXX|oXXXX

Loading the same game and on the first turn my ship which was positioned in MY space is now in Yor space but it seems to correct itself a turn later in most cases back to my favor somehting like this

XXXo|XXXX

I doubt this is unique to me. I only noticed it because I kept a perverbial Maginot line to keep the Yor at bay.

My minor bug / suggestion is I had one military resource and the Yor had 2 military resources. When I'd attack his planets I'd have a 83 attack score while he had 90. I killed both his resource star bases and built my own on them but whenever I attacked still only had 83 attack while he had 90. Does military resources influence ground attack scores at all? And if they do not why not? I really think they should since ground combat is a military thing afterall.

Thanks for reading

The loaded game influence bug has been around a bit. Once a recalculation of influence is needed it corrects itself. In a recent patch it seemed to have been fixed, but I think I've seen it return as well.

A fix that I've seen is to have a constructor handy for when you load up. As soon as you get in, create a star base....anywhere. Upon creating it, it will cause a recalc of the influence aura and snap back to where it should be.
