when i update my game from 1.5v to w/e it is now, do i have to put my mods back in =/

No, you shouldn't have to.

Only if you've directly modded the game's core files. If you used the mods folder, you'll be fine.

oddly...............they stayed there haha, its the stefans weapons mod for DA and i went in and replaced the respective files with the mod ones, although i think the updated files were put in there also so i might have to take those out again,
