It would be nice to simply have a hi-res printable version of the tech tree to have handy while playing the game.

You can print the version JavaScout's got up. Resized, it will fit on one page, but the font is small. I mean really small. You'd better have good eyes.

I have a plotter at work.. makes my huuuge tech tree look SO good! Muahahaa.. ;p

By the way, not that it really matters, but he went a little line 'n arrow crazy on his tech tree (at least the project and tech tree). There are relationship arrows that don't need to be there, making it a tad more complex than it needs to be. For instance, Avatar technology: There are relationship lines from both Self Healing Armor as well as from Ranger Technology. However the one from Ranger technology isn't needed, since you can't get Self Healing Armor without Ranger tech. I noticed two right away.. there are probably others. Dunno if Javascout noticed, but mebbe he still has some cleanup to do on it.

But great effort, and it is a wonderful help! I appreciate his work to get that done! :D

I'm a network admin, but I work for an enviromental remediation company. We have a few cad stations, and a few plotters, but only one really nice(er) one.

Um.. I was testing out the postscript print drivers, that's all.. honest! LOL

P.S. I could be wrong about that tech tree, if say.. you could get a tech by researching one OR the other one prior to researching the new one. I am used to having set prerequisites in a game, so I don't know if the choosing is an and/or thing. I'll double check before I claim that java's excellent work is overcomplex *grin*.
