Why isn't there an official modding questions topic?

Well, the first question is in the title. Wouldn't that be easier for everyone if it was the case?

Also, I wanted to know if it was possible to program which movie plays for which event. Let's say I want the same cinematic to play for the dread lord mega-event than the one in the campaign, but don't want to overwrite the invasion movie, what file must I edit?

Sadly, I think these things are hardcoded. there is no way to change the movies short of overwriting existing ones (within the mod folder of course).
