I can't update GC2 ! Email not good ?

Hello !

I purchased the Box version of Galciv2, in French, this morning.
A brand new one, of course.
When i wanted to update it, he say (the stardock soft) my email does not match his record
O_O

I sended a mail to "Stardock Sales", but no answer yet (it's only a day of course but...).

What's happened ? Someone took my serial number ? It's just a mistake ?
What can i do ? I can play the game (so my serial is good i suppose),
but it's full of bugs and i'd like to update it.
What can i do ?

Sometimes a person will buy the game, then registers it and returns it to the store for a refund. The store sells it like a new item again.
You may end up returning it for one that is not already registered.

But, give the Stardock folks a chance to reply. They do not work on weekends, so you won't get a response before Monday.

In fact, i buy it on internet to Pixmania.
I'll be very surprised if they do that (and it'll be complicated to change).

Anyway, i can easily prouve i have the true game (with pict for example) ^_^ !
I will wait next week and play in the meantime.
Yes, this game ROOOCK   (even with "string not found").

Since you have a problem with the retail french version of GC2, you should contact the paradox forum (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=330) as there is a know problem with serail Id for the french version.

My problem was solved by Totalgaming support.
Pixmania sold me an used game in fact.

If you have a problem, just trust the support and write them a mail.
They answer quickly and are efficient
