Newb questions

Just got it, played several short games. I have some questions:

1. Can I create a ship queue?
2. When a planetary project site has a special bonus (e.g Research X), how do I know what is best built there? In other words, do I need to wait for the exact available project to be made available or will any research site get a bonus.
3. I have conquered several planets that have revolted despite a >70% approval rating. Where can i find why this is happening, and how do i correct it.
4. Is there a "national" approval rating and a planetary one as well? How is the national one calculated?

I have more, but I think playing more is the best way to get them answered! Sorry if these seem obvious.....the last e4 game i played was the original Master of Orion, circa 1995.

Thanks.

1. No. You only have the choice between 'continue building the same ship' and manually selecting a new build order.

2. AFAIK any research site wil get the bonus.

3. You need more influence. I find starbases help, but this is one of the points I'm still trying to figure out myself.

4. Each planet has its own approval rating. I think the number you see on the main screen is the average.

To prevent revolting, build embassies and culture centers, they will increase your influence and push back the influence of other civs. Starbases only amplify what influence you have there, without at least 1 embassy, an influence starbase is pretty useless, as it will only be able to amplify your general civ bonus.
Other things you can do is add a Loyalty bonus (racial trait only), this makes your people less susceptible to revolt, or (when you have researched the right techs) you can build propaganda centers, which totally prevent revolts on that planet.

Everything else seems to be answered well.
