Weird Ghost Ship!

Alright not really a ghost ship, but tell me if you've ever seen this, because I get it in practically every game.

The map is tilted, so there's a corner facing the bottom of the screen (duh). A while into the game, even if I don't have a ship there clearing the fog, a visible ship of a particular race appears there. Its unclickable, it doesn't move, its just there... In one game it was a Terran ship, and I had Terrans as well as 5 other races in the game. In a recent game, going 1 on 1 with the Drengin (and lost T-T), it was of course a Drengin vessel.

No big deal, just wondered if anyone else saw that around.

that sounds creepy but if it was a flag ship that could happen whin they are scouting maby not being able to click is a bug?

I had that once. I thought it was the start orf a pirate invasion. It just sat there and i couldnt even attack it. later i checked and it was just gone. GULP. I never visit the bottom corner of the galaxy alone anymore...

Hi!
just wondered if anyone else saw that around.

It was in most my games. Also it was displayed with full graphics, not like other ships as an icon. Killed my framerate every time the bottom corner came into view. With the improved graphics engine in 1.6 that's not an issue anymore.

This is a known issue. I believe that it is a workaround for a problem that was causing a few crashes. Ignore it.

Blow the ship up!    I've noticed that a civ's flagship will just sit in a desolate corner of the map when all scouting is done.

You can't blow it up, its not really there.

AGH! I just saw the ghost ship, it's a real pain. It seems there are multiple ghost ships stacked and they seem to be slowing it down. They don't even change when you zoom out! They aren't responding to the stacked ship feature either. Whenever I accidentally pan over it DA will sometimes crash......damn damned souls!

I get issues like that, but most of the time it just sits in a random spot for a few turns, then moves and I never see it again.... Sometimes it's an entire fleet.

Glad I'm not alone guys. =P

The ghost ship I'm talking about is always in the corner, but there's others too... when I'm for whatever reason given ships by other civs, when I move them, unselectable clones of them are in their prior spot, which often tend to just go away on their own. The ghost ship, though, likes to stick around.
