Interface help/suggestions

I'm trying to play GC2:DA on Vista and one thing keeps slowing me down. When I am zoomed out a ways things get really cluttered.

Is there a way to reduce the clutter or hide all the planets in their parent star like Moo2 did?

Figured it out, nevermind

Changed my tactical zoom to 99% and that fit my needs.

Now I just gotta figure out how to auto-research the research item with the lowest research time.
