Hi all and welcome to the Tyranny of Evil. The Tyranny of Evil is a dedicated Metaverse empire that has risen to prominence in just 1 year. 2nd place on the AltMeta and a soon to be 3rd place in the MV is no small feat from an empire with ~39 active players.

Dedicated to the pursuit of evil, we encourage all players, new or veterans, to join us in our quest to be the strongest, most active and long lived empire in the Metaverse.

We pride ourselves on being one of the most active empires in the MV or the Altmeta, and it is that activity that makes us unique. Our members are active submitters of games and have a very strong and prominent forum presence.

Prodigal off of the Ignorance is Bliss album by Face to Face. (Sorry, I'm not that smart or current, I had to google it, but at least I made the effort to look it up).

Mine was Slime from the Video off of the Over-Nite Sensation album by Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention (with Jon-Luc Ponty). Great album. Came out in 1975 or thereabouts. Probably not a fair timeframe to be quoting from.

Here's a few lines from one of the many other hits from that album.

yep on Face to Face. one of my favorite bands, though their final album before breaking up was of a noticeably different quality. i guess they would be classified as punk: their sound was the early 90s style punk before the early 90s punk bands came out. they also realeased an album called Standards and Practices that was essentially a tribute to a number of bands that influenced them in the 70s and 80s.

here are some fun lyrics from another one of my favorite bands, though i doubt anyone will know it without googling:

I had yours as Zappa mumble, cool song too...Dys...i had no idea mate, i had to google yours, and even then i wasnt sure.

Your second one is HORSE the band. I only know that cause a mate of mine has a DVD with them on it supporting Dragonforce it hink...May have been a Warped tour or something to that affect.

Actually i would not have know at all if my mate didnt happen to be sitting here near me. Chalk one up to Iron Ironside from ToE......

Hail Tyranny of Evil!  It is I... Quixen, and I have returned... hehe.  I wanted to come by and thank Nelio, Dethadder, and Mottikhan for the warm welcome back to the game and the personal invite each of them gave to me to join the Tyranny of Evil.  After careful thought... not really, just the fact that I know many of you, but it sounded good... right?  anyway... I have decided to resign my commision with the HCH and join your ranks!

I do not conquer galaxies with great speed, and I tend to fight in a more relaxed environment.  It is good to see all the familiar faces. 

Once again, thank you for the invitation to join you.... let the games begin!

I'm only playing my first serious DA game, but I've picked up a lot there.  DL still holds some interest, but I can see DA becoming my primary.  I have TA as well, but haven't played it yet.

humm intresting Motti can the Tyranny handle another good player in there mites??? but if i do join what do i get out of it? if i send Calhoun are head securaty officer or even our GLaDOS computer what dose the Confederation get out of it? can you help us get to the top ten maybe?

hmm. i think the kind of experience we can offer might help you help yourselve to top ten. i know it's helped me become a stronger player, even if i still don't finish games very often.
