Well...i played my game out in two different ways. Mid 2230 i stopped buying ships and done the final upgrade and ran the game out to 10 years for 731K. thats when i posted my original 800K club message figuring that after a few 1000 more ships i would be looking good. So after another 2K in ships for about 5077 (vs 3353 for the 731 game) and about 3 more months i upgraded again. ran it out and could get to 788 in 12 years.

Thought the 10 year 778 game was the way to go.....ill detail my troubles on ToE but this is still a personal best for me and a stepping stone to 800K games!

Neilo, that is a fantastic game. Congratulations! . As for Livonya, personally I think he's some manner of AI of alien design, so no sense comparing ourselves to him . 1.4 million is just crazy...

Thanks mate! And yes 1.4M is such an achievement i'm not sure it can be matched. Livonya has sure found a technique that hasn't been unearthed as yet..

From what i can tell the main difference other than the speed at which you can do cycle the AI's out of the game...is that Livonya does not do a final upgrade, rather just continues to build ships...over 40K worth IIRC.

Well done, neilo! I might give one of those DA games a whirl on my next game. I have a TOE character that needs to be bumped up to the top 25 and DA seems like the logical progression. Don't be alarmed by the reset to zero on Evil Twin.

finally dropped my game last night for 200K. it took 11 years and most of the "big points" were in the end, but it's decent progress.

i'm monstly only saying this because now i'm in the top 100, and i was curious if there was a medal for that.

ah, and medals are broken again. nice, stardock, nice.

Nahh there isn't a top 100 medal, just the top 25 one before reaching the top 3.

I've already given up on ever seeing any medals since I am apparently one of the few in the ToE who run IE, and it has become obvious that SD doesn't have any inclination of fixing the things they break with their new forum "UPDATES".
