LIEUTENANT COUNT ALEJANDRO MONTOYA'S TASTY KZINTI QUESADILLAS
|
1 whole Kzinti or 4 Kzinti kittens
1 c. black beans
1 c. diced onions
1/4 c. chopped cilantro
1/2-1 lb. Iconian cheese mix (or whatever you desire)
1 pkg. taco seasoning (use to taste)
1 pkg. flour tortillas
Skin Kzinti and fillet into one pound pieces (you can safely store extra Kzinti meat for several months in large Ziploc bags, with a marinade of your choice, by freezing them in hard vacuum and attaching the Ziploc bags to an external hull point on your battleship.) Rub meat with a mixture of salt, pepper, and chile powder and sear both sides in a cast iron skillet with olive oil. Remove seared Kzinti fillets and cut into small bite size pieces. Return to skillet at medium heat with some oil and mix in taco seasoning and a little water. Cook until water evaporates. Remove meat and place in a bowl. Mix in uncooked onions, cooked black beans, and cilantro. Clean skillet, return it to stove and place one tortilla in skillet on medium heat. Place several spoonfuls of mixture on top of tortilla and use spoon to spread over the tortilla. Cover mixture with cheese and place second tortilla on top. Cook for one minute, flip quesadilla, and cook on other side until cheese is well melted. Very, very yummy.
Serving suggestion: These tasty delicacies will be a hit with everyone, especially when served by nubile Altarian dancing girls you temporarily release from your slave pit to act as hostesses, but you should really try serving them at the next United Planets meeting. As your co-species rave about the exquisiteness of the flavor and your superiority in all things relating to quesadillas, offer to go to your ship and retrieve the recipe for them. Once onboard your battleship, move one parsec and destroy the planet with your terror star. These Kzinti quesadillas are even more exceptionally exquisite with the blood of all you enemies on your hands simultaneously.
If you are not warrior enough to secure your own Kzinti meat you can always substitute chicken, but remember.....
