Installation Stalls on RaceConfig.xml

Hello, I'm trying to DL and install GalCiv2 on my new laptop. It quickly downloads the core components, but when it goes to extract them, it always stalls at 1% on RaceConfig.xml, which is the first file. What gives?

You know, I may have some added information here. When I go to install it, it lists Dark Avatar as a component. I don't own DA, and honestly, right now I'm not looking to own it. I'd just like to install my original game. But I can't remove DA from the list of components, and I can't install the components (Tutorials, Movies, etc.) one at a time without installing GalCiv 2, which then lumps in DA in with the rest of the components.

What gives here? Why isn't DA a seperate game entry?

Please contact [email protected] about the SDC extraction issue.

DA is a component for GC2 because it depends on and requires it. If SDC is trying to add it to the install queue when you're prompted to install the modules along with GC2, then that's most likely a bug that will need looked at.

You're not required to buy or install DA, and you can simply decline to install the modules right away, and just install the others manually once the core GC2 download is installed.
