Not childish, sarcastic and funny i thought.
Yes, i'll grant you i did miss the
usually in your post so in that regard for those instances you are correct.
But as for being childish, well fine, but no more than you are being arrogant,
We tend to have more priority than people outside the US
C'mon, do you really see yourself (as a whole) as so high and mighty.
I'll ask it like this,
Do you believe Brad and the Stardock made this game for the sole purpose and intent of distributing and supporting North America? I'd assume you don't. So then do they prioritize their support of the game to those in North America?
Or would it be that Stardock realize that the US. is just part of the community and by tending to that flock first and foremost that it would have a negative effect on the overseas market. So they of course treat one customer the same as another regardless of location.
Which brings me back to the original line,
"When things are made here in the US, or canada, they tend to be made for US!"
Gone are the days when software companies made location specific titles, (i can recall some back in the old Amiga days, some games were simply not supported outside of Europe) companies now will look at how this game/software, anything, will sell globally.
Yes there are niche markets, and there are companies that are happy doing their business, no matter what it is, happily within their own borders. But imho these form the minority and not the world at large. Hence why i said it was naive to think as you do.
If people like Brad and Stardock or any software/game developers thought as you do, that the US. market is the place we should sell our product since we live there, then i would suggest they would not be very successful at their chosen endeavour, or they would have a great product and hardly no-one would know about it..
Which is why i said "Why do i care? I don't, i just don't want others to believe you."
I don't care because i don't think as you do. And i don't want others to believe you because if they were to, great titles like Galciv2 may cease to be available overseas.
Yes that's a big "if" there, as i am not so naive to think someone on here would read a comment and based on that never do business outside America. But hey, stranger things have happened.
